Quick #doodle #sketch of Mark E Smith, founder of post-punk stalwarts The Fall (itself named after a work by Albert #Camus). Noisy, dissonant, and ever changing, the fall was never a really predictable or consistent outfit, not the least of which due to Smith's own caustic and well documented ability to be very difficult and very sharp. I first heard them via a cassette I got in The Bargain Bin at @streetlightrecords and I could barely make heads or tails of it of the time. Smith passed away Wednesday at the age of 60.
