1. New audioblogs of interest...Scattermish. It is an Aussie DJ with a rather eclectic palette. The other is The Rub, which is a trio of remixologists. Both blogs have an underpinning of hip-hop and funk going on.
2. Now if your speed is more classical, I will not leave you out in the cold. Classic Cat is a directory of public domain performances of classical works sorted as well as providing links to where you can purchase similar material. Get your Mahler-on, yo.
3. Todays video is the 1983 R&B classic by Loose Ends, which to this day still sounds as fresh as it did at its initial release (even if the video itself is hokey as all get out).
Looks like On-U Sound projects continue unabated, and a recent Little Axe gig was recorded for re-broadcast online. More info here.
There are apparently other activities afoot, including another LA album, another Doug Wimbish solo disc, another Living Colour mini tour in Europe, etc.
Personally, I am still waiting for the forever delayed Head>>fake debut.
