One of the advantages of being of #portuguese / #azorean stock is that mother will occasionally provide loaves of sweet bread (maçã souvada) , which is one of the most perfect foods ever devised. #cozinhaportuguesa #foodporn

I've drawn @opioidobscura several times but never gotten past the sketch stage, although in this #wip case I finally decided it probably should get published in the hopes that it'll spark me to complete something. Another person from my days as a #deviantART admin, Allison was and is always stand up people. She's also quite talented in multiple idioms, and I'm quite a fan of her band Samarkand.

This fine gentleman was sporting the #illustration / t-shirt design I did for #SandboxSJ back in 92-93. I'm currently reimagining the same concept in a "2.0" kind of way. #art #popart
